It has been reported that the management of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) sacked the assistant manager flight services Khalid Mehmood Jadoon from his service for holding a fake degree.
According to the notification issued by the authorities, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has terminated Khalid Jadoon from the service after finding him guilty of holding a forged BA degree.
According to the details, the assistant manager flight services had been served a show-cause notice in the month of December last year on account of submission of fake BA degree during service under the provision of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees disciplinary policy- 2019 but Khalid Jadoon failed to submit a satisfactory answer.
“Thereafter, an enquiry was conducted but you failed to participate in the enquiry proceeding, however, submitted a written statement wherein you accepted the charges levelled against you.”
After completing the enquiry proceedings against him, the probe officer declared assistant manager Khalid Jadoon guilty of holding the fake degree.
It is pertinent to mention here that earlier on June 30, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) had suspended the flight operations of the national flag carrier of Pakistan for Europe over safety concerns.
The details said that all the flights of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to Europe will remain suspended after the order as the national airline has asked the passengers to either refund their tickets or extend them for a late date.
