The government of Pakistan has announced the dates of the winter holidays for the public schools in the capital city of Islamabad.
As per the details, the government of Pakistan announced that the winter break will be started on December 23 and December 31 would be the last day of the winter holidays.
The educational institutes in Islamabad would be remained closed for at least nine days. The first day of the new school term in the federal capital Islamabad will be January 1, 2020.
The education department Islamabad has issued a notification regarding the winter break schedule.
Earlier, the provincial government of Punjab had announced to keep all educational institutes in Lahore, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala closed for at least one day due to the dense smog in the several parts of the province.
The education department of Pakistan’s most populated province had also issued a notification in which the authorities blamed smog as the reason behind the closure of the educational institutes in several areas of Punjab.
