Country Director SAP, Saquib Ahmad briefed Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue, on how they are offering services to 180 countries. The meeting was held at the Finance Division.
Saquib Ahmad shared the ideas for the better use of technology and suggested steps for better resource management that require further investments in new technology.
Reported by the media, Saquib also shared that the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software would be of special use for some organizations like the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS), Public Works Department (PWD), Railways and Pakistan Post.
Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh assured that the Finance Division will offer any assistance necessary to help the team serve their purpose.
Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh today also announced the passing of the summary to import wheat from Russia. According to sources, at least 180,000 metric tons of wheat would be imported.
