Telenor Microfinance Bank (TMB) took an initiative to bring all charities under one umbrella by offering its online digital platform to them. Telenor established a website connected to its mobile banking platform “EasyPaisa” which will collect donations for charity organizations.
TMB has launched first of its kind website which is responsible to collect donations online using Easypaisa’s online payment solution EasyPay. The bank is going to initially facilitate 10 leading charity organizations of Pakistan including; Shaukat Khanam Memorial Hospital, Edhi Foundation, Sahara For Life Trust, Akhuwat, Pink Ribbon, Aman Foundation, Zindagi Trust, Saylani Welfare and SOS Children’s Village Development in Literacy.
The website will equally facilitate donors to send their donations to the organizations listed above by using local or international Visa or Mastercard payments using EasyPay or by paying through EasyPaisa shops locally.
