Tehreek-e-Labaik starts blocking the roads of country as deadline ends

The supporters of Tehreek-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah starts protesting in Lahore. The areas of Lahore including Faiz Pur Interchange, Chongi Amar Sado, Daroga Wala Chowk, Azadi Chowk, Shahdara Chowk and Data Darbar Chowk are blocked for traffic.

After the failure of negotiation with the government, the protestors start protesting in Rawalpindi as well, media reporting. The Muree Road of Rawalpindi is partially closed for the usual traffic. The protestors came on the roads and recording their protest. The protesters are also on the road of the other rural areas of Pakistan like Kamoke, Muridke, Qasoor etc, but the roads are fully operational for now. The Metro bus service in Lahore has also been suspended.

The protesters staged a sit-in at Liaquat Bagh, situated on one of the most important roads of Rawalpindi, Murree Road.

According to the media reports the protestors are on sit-in from last two weeks in Lahore, and their demand is to publicize the Zafar ul Haq report regarding Khatam-e-Nabuat bill amendments.
