The schedule of summer for the public sector educational institutions in Islamabad has been announced by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE).
On June 3rd, all the government schools and colleges will close campuses. Then they will reopen on the third week of August. Schools in the federal capital will reopen on August 12.
May 31st will be the last working day both at government and public schools in Islamabad. In the two-month period of summer vacations, the Federal Directorate of Education schools and college will be repaired and maintained.
The private schools, however, will close on June 3rd and they will reopen on August 19th. All private schools have been directed by the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) that are over 1100, to follow the schedule.
So students all over Islamabad can get excited as the most anticipated time of the year is just around the corner. For two months they can relax in their homes and enjoy the time, read, travel, watch their favorite programs and spend some quality time around.
