The provincial government of Sindh has made the plans of establishing a Centre of Robotics, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence at IBA, Sukkur.
Regarding this, the provincial government has given an amount of Rs.3.0 billion in its annual budget for the fiscal year 2019-20.
The provincial government would also be taking many steps for higher education which could be termed as ambitious but laudable if they are completed on time.
The government would be setting up a Thar Institute of Technology, which would be the NED campus of Tharparkar.

Universities would also be established in Badin and Mirpurkhas.
The provincial government has surged the allocation for the universities and boards’ department in the non-development budget from Rs.9.529 billion in the year to Rs.10.585 billion in the next financial year 2019-20.
The top priority of the Sindh government is the Sindh Education City which is spread over 8,900 acres.
20 local and international institutions have been given land for developing their academic campuses and some have completed their comprehensive design for starting the construction of their campuses.
The master plan of the Education City has been completed and the government would start work on the first phase of the infrastructure from next year. This would be completed in 5 years at the cost of Rs.13.9 billion.
