State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) Manager Chief Javaid Iqbal Marth has stated that State Bank was launching a Medium and Small Enterprises (SME) criticism portal on the SBP site. He was talking at the Lahore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (LCCI) right here on Thursday, Mettis Global reported.
Javaid Iqbal Marth stated the complaints would immediately attain the governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, the chief director, deputy managers, along with other officials. He included that the complainants could be in a position to monitor progress on their claims through a distinctive complaint number.
He informed the LCCI participants who SME clinics will be going, incorporating that the SME clinics will provide understanding to SMEs regarding various banking applications for the utilization of theirs. On the event, LCCI President Irfan Iqbal Sheikh stated the share of the SME segment in bank financing must be elevated as this industry required much more financing and support to have on its business pursuits.
He stated that the first step of the Rozgar Scheme for Salaries, Wages announced by the State Bank of Pakistan to facilitate the online business group in the wake of the COVID 19 outbreak was a good step. He stated LCCI was using all the channels of its to spread awareness about this particular scheme among its users and hopefully a lot more and more representatives of the private-sector would gain from it.
