A helpline to facilitate the bank customers during the ongoing lockdown in the country has been launched by the State Bank of Pakistan.
In order to facilitate the bank customers, the central bank of the country has launched the helpline, saying that the people can now approached it through the helpline in case their queries or complaints are not being answered by the banks.
Customers can call on 021-111-727-273 during office hours.
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) asked the people of the country to use digital payment services as much as possible to help the banks provide their services with minimum staff to ensure their safety.
The central bank has also taken notice of the fake phone calls to the bank customers by the fraudsters seeking personal information taking advantage of the current situations.
The State Bank has advised all the banks in the country to ensure that their call centers or helplines are available 24/7 for instant customer support during the ongoing crisis of coronavirus in the country.
