On Monday, the SSGC has made the announcement that the CNG stations would remain closed in Sindh on Tuesday for 2 hours.
As per the spokesperson of the Sui Southern Gas Company the decision has been taken due to the lack of gas in the system. He also said that they are experiencing difficulties to meet the gas demand of domestic consumers.
CNG stations closure directives would not be applying over the RLNG stations, as informed by SSGC.
As per the SSGC, CNG stations across the nation would be opening on Wednesday morning at 8:00 am.
The Gas company has also issued a warning that any CNG station found being functional during this span would have to bear the consequences, its gas supply would be disconnected.
Previously, in June PM Khan had asked to formulate a detailed strategy to meet the gas requirements of both the industrial and domestic sectors.
While heading a high-level meeting in the federal capital, PM Khan said that the gas requirements of both the domestic and industrial consumers were surging on a per-day basis.
