The special train service for Christmas has been extended until the Jan 1.
The announcement regarding the extension in the special train service was made by the Federal Minister for Railways, Shiekh Rasheed Ahmed during a press conference on Wednesday.
He said that the government is of the belief that people should be served well irrespective of their religion or faith they follow.

The special train service was announced by the railway’s minister for the Christian community on the special occasion of Christmas. Christmas is celebrated all across the world on December 25.
The special train service would operate between Karachi and Rawalpindi. As per the initial announcement, the train was to operate between December 25 to December 29.
On the other hand, the authorities have increased the number of immigration counters at Karachi Airport.
