On Sunday, the special flight of PIA sent to Australia to bring the stranded Pakistanis has successfully brought over 200 citizens back to Pakistan.
The process of repatriation will continue as per the government to bring back the citizens stuck in different countries of the world. Recently a relief flight brought 200 Pakistanis this Sunday.
PK-8972 aircraft carried passengers from Melbourne and landed in Lahore on Sunday. All the passengers will go through the coronavirus screening and medical check-ups and later on they will be sent to quarantine centers.
It is relevant to mention that the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) operated a flight to Melbourne for the first time ever in history.
This relief flight took off for Australia on the 24th of April to bring Pakistanis stuck there. One of the spokespeople from the airlines confirmed the special flight was sent to Melbourne with 300 passengers on board.
The national flag carrier PIA is effortlessly helping the Pakistanis stranded in the other countries because of the suspension of the flight operations caused due to the spread of the pandemic disease.
