Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Special Assistant for Digital Pakistan Tania Aidrus has resigned. According to the report, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tania Aidrus has resigned from her post, according to the details she was being questioned on the issue of dual citizenship due to which she has resigned from her current post.
Tania Aidrus said in a tweet that her dual citizenship was questioned, the criticism against her was affecting the vision of Digital Pakistan, so she thought she should resign.
In her Tweet she wrote, “Criticism levied towards the state as a consequence of my citizenship status is clouding the purpose of Digital Pakistan. In the greater public interest, I have submitted my resignation from the SAPM role. I will continue to serve my country and the PM’s vision to my best ability.”
