It has been learned that the PPP-led provincial government of Sindh has finalized the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the holy month of Ramadan during the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the details, the provincial government has decided that only 3 to 5 people will be allowed to offer Tarawih prayer during the holy month of Ramadan in a move to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The government further decided that the Tarawih congregations at other spots including marriage halls and other open places across the province would be banned.
The authorities announced that the shopping centers and malls will remain close and the government will take strict action against the violators. On the other hand, only online business would be allowed. All the businesses that are exempted from the coronavirus lockdown would be allowed to perform their business activities until 5:00 pm.
As per the details, the restaurants would be allowed to deliver the food till 5:00 pm, and the superstores failing to implement the SOPs formed by the government of Sindh would be sealed.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi and the Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail into the confidence over the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
