That time is not is far when people will be choosing mobile payment for all the transactions, says Fawad Chaudhry Federal Minister for Science and Technology.
While talking to the press he said that mobile phones are the future of Identity verification.
The rule of submitting the CNIC’s after purchasing anything would be vanished.
A recent announcement has been made by the FBR, according to which the shoppers will have to submit a copy of their CNIC if their purchase extends to more than 50,000. This condition was introduced for business transactions in order to avoid fake transactions.
Fawad chaudhry also shared the government’s plan which is to build Asia’s largest bio-science park in Jhelum.
He further added that there has been an issue of money laundering for the past ten years. Mostly the imported goods were used for money laundering and the act of under-invoicing was very common.
In Pakistan, it is difficult to have chat over science. Still, in 2019 the minister of science has to tell people that binoculars are not required in moon sighting.
In the end he said that all the developed countries are lucky that they don’t have to deal with people like Khadim Hussain Rizvi and Fazalur Rehman, but we have to see them every Friday.
