As per the reports, the meeting was announced this week by Shafqat Mehmood Minister for Education Vocational Training. Moreover, the meeting will also decide on the possibility of declaring winter vacations early this year and extending the winter break.
Murad Raas on Friday said that Punjab is closely observing the situation in schools and according to him schools are doing absolutely fine. He further stated that there should be no winter vacations.
According to Punjab Education Minister, an across-the-board decision for schools is impossible due to the nature of cases in different cities of Pakistan.
He says that if Gujranwala is reporting a large number of cases, for example, we cannot shut down schools in other cities as it doesn’t make any sense.
