Sindh Witnesses A Surge in COVID-19 Cases

As per the reports of local media, the province of Sindh has witnessed a surge in the COVID-19 cases. CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah said that 429 fresh cases of the virus were reported in the span of the last 24 hours.

Sindh reported more than 270 virus cases a day before.

While delivering a daily briefing on the coronavirus situation, the CM Sindh said that the fresh cases emerged after 10,050 tests were performed during the duration.

The CM Sindh said that at present there are 4,629 active coronavirus patients in the province. Out of them, 4,239 are in self-isolation at their homes, 7 are getting treatment at the isolation centers while 383 are getting medical treatment in separate hospitals.

He further added that 248 patients are in critical condition while 38 others are on the ventilators.

The national tally of coronavirus infections and associated deaths is 285,191 and 6,112 respectively.

On the other hand, as per the reports of local media, PM Khan would be inaugurating the Bus Rapid Transit Peshawar Project on the 13th of this month.
