The government of Sindh has given approval to the special promotion policy and to the issuance of the special mark sheets for the academic year 2020 to all the matriculation and intermediate students.
A meeting of the controllers, chairmen, and the IT managers of all the education boards of Sindh that was held at the Hyderabad Board of Education. The meeting gave approval to this promotion policy.
As per the shared details, the matriculation and intermediate part-II students would be getting three percent additional marks than what they acquired in part-I annual examinations.
But, only the marks of part-I would be written on the special mark sheets of all the students.
As far as the failed students are concerned, they would be promoted in all failed subjects under the recent promotion policy and their marks would be shown against the respective subjects for part-II.
For students who have been unsuccessful in 2 or fewer subjects, they would be given marks in each of the subjects based on the average marks they obtained in all of the passed subjects.
In the case of students, who have failed in more than 2 subjects, they would be given 33 marks and would be promoted in all those subjects.
