In the middle of the coronavirus, Syed Awais Shah Sindh Transport Minister decides to hold a meeting with the public transporters to discuss the problems they are facing due to the lockdown in the country.
Ittehad Irshad Bukhari President Karachi transport gives an ultimatum to the Sindh government to ease some rules for them within three days.
The main aim of the meeting will be to prepare a standard operating procedure for the transporters in order to give them relief in the lockdown crises.
A ban was imposed on inter-city and intra-city public transport all over the Sindh by the Transport Minister of Sindh Awais Shah on the 23rd of March.
Every transport service including; taxi, buses, online cab services, and rickshaws in Sindh as people were ordered to stay at home by the provincial minister. The only transport allowed was the private vehicles, only on one condition that only two people will be allowed to travel in private vehicles and in case of emergency only three people will be allowed.
Shah feels happy and appreciates the public for supporting the government’s decision.
