Sindh would be under complete lockdown today that is Friday from 12 noon to 3:00 pm as a preventive measure to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
As per the home department, a complete lockdown for 3 hours would be imposed today during the Friday prayers timings, but, the directives would not be applied to the private hospitals.
A warning has also been issued by the department that strict action would be taken against the ones who would be found violating the imposed restrictions.
It is important to mention that the province of Sindh has placed a ban on all kinds of religious and public gathering in the province in order to control the spread of the global epidemic.
This recent order is the revised version of the previous decision that was taken last week during the Friday prayers for limiting the large gatherings.
Besides, the government has also made the decision of relaxing the lockdown after the 14th of April, however, that would be done in phases.
The coronavirus cases count has reached to 1,128 until Thursday evening, the secomd highest figure after the province of Punjab which has got a total of 2,214 cases out of the complete 4,462 cases reported across Pakistan.
