It is expected that Sindh is going to receive one another spell of monsoon rain before October ends under the impact of a tropical cyclone called “Qayar”.
The monsoon rain system is expected to start at the end of October or the start of November. Some parts of Sindh will be slashed by the rain including the city of lights Karachi.
This spell, meanwhile, brought irregular rainfall in Lahore, a downpour in Narowal, Faisalabad, Sialkot and other towns and cities of Punjab last Thursday.
Some parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also expected to experience this wet spell including Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Lakki Marwat.
Thunderstorm or rainfall with wind is expected in some places such as KPK, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan this Friday.
As per the weather department, there is an expectation of a hailstorm as well. In Malakand Division and Gilgit Baltistan snowfall is expected over high mountains.
On the other hand, the Pakistani rupee has stabilized against the US dollar in the interbank market, as per the reports of State Bank of Pakistan-SBP.
