The government of Sindh has recorded the highest number of coronavirus cases today. The count is 320, which is so far the highest number of infections in the province, as per the CM of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah.
The national tally of the coroavirus affectees has reached 3,373.
Murad Ali Shah in a video statement today, said that the government of Sindh has conducted 2,097 tests of the COVID-19 in the span of last 24 hours, and out of which 320 have come positive.
During the past twnety-four hours, 3 more people have lost their lives from coronavirus in Sindh, as indicated by the CM Sindh. He also said that the death count in the province now is at 69.
He said that out of the identified 320 cases today, the majority of the cases are from Karachi.
Previously, the health minister fo Sindh, Azra Fazal Pechuho said that the COVID-19 cases in Pakistan could see their peak during the month of May.
Pechuho emphasized that the social distancing was necessary for the days to come and any ignorance could lead to possible harm.
The minister also said that there were strong indications that the cases of COVID-19 will increase significantly in the months to come.
It was also added that if the lockdown was relaxed there would be a significant surge in the cases of coronavirus.
