CM Mahmood Khan has asked for the ration packages, which includes 20 kilogrammes worth of flour, 5 kilos of pulses, 10 kilos of rice and sugar, a carton of 1-litre milk, and 5 boxes of tea to be offered to the affectees of the coronavirus families, as per a notification issued by the relief department of KP government.
The provincial health department would be gathering information, which includes the addresses of the recipients and the relevant deputy commissioner would be distributing the packages of the government. Regarding this, records would be maintained by the home department too.
Previously, the Health Minister of KP Taimur Khan Jhagra had given confirmation that the government has received the news that 15 of 19 people received in KP from Taftan have tested positive for the coronavirus and that they were the first positive cases in the province of KP.
On the other hand, the CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah has given directives for the distribution of rations to the families of people kept in the isolation centre in Sukkur.
Shah also said that the breadwinners are in isolation, that one must be worried about the daily income and told them that they should not worry about the ones in isolation centre, rather focus on the health instead.
The leadership of Sindh would not let anyone sleep hungry, and stressed that the local government minister said that the rations should be delivered to the residences of the pilgrims without providing any media coverage.
