Sindh Transport Minister, Awais Qadir Shah has said that the inter-city and the intra-city transport will be restored once the lockdown ends.
While talking to media, he said that the transporters have told the government that will only bring their automobiles on the roads once the lockdown ends.
Shah informed the details of the meeting which he had with the transporters and said that the transport sector will resume its operations after the lockdown ends and will follow the provided SOPs of safety.
He also said that the government has taken care of all the sectors. The minister added that the government of Sindh will also be providing relief to the transporters and the CM will be discussing their issues with the federal government.
On the other hand, as per the latest, Sheikh Rasheed–the minister of Railways has offered to resume the railway operations within a day. He also assured the PM that all safety protocols to curb the spread of the coronavirus will be adopted if the railway resumes its operations.
