On Sunday, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the Sindh government will not demolish illegal residences built alongside Karachi’s drains until and unless the residents are provided with alternative places to live.
He further stated that the government is going to clean the drains but will not leave the residents living around the drains of Karachi homeless and will take care of all the residents.
According to the Bilawal, the Green Line Project has created chaos with the drainage system of Karachi. He emphasized upon fixing the drainage system of the megacity. He further added that people suffered a lot in the last spell of rain as it caused urban flooding in the port city.

Bilawal advised his party worker to rally with him in the same way they used to support Benazir Bhutto.
Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a financial package of Rs.1100 billion to transform the chronic issues of Karachi and to meet its development requirements.
He briefed the package at the Governor House by saying that the federal government knows very well about the issues the Karachiites are facing from over the past so many years and now the PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf) government has planned to solve all the constant problems of the megacity.
