As per the reports of local media, the government of Sindh is planning to form a Highway Patrolling Force in the province and a decision about this matter was taken in a meeting in Karachi.
The idea was given approval in the meeting that took place on Thursday with the Chief Minister of Sindh—Syed Murad Ali Shah.
The meeting was briefed about the merits of establishing the force with the province having 10 significant highways and the force would help in reducing the crime, in dealing with the accidents and would be helping in the overall management of the traffic.
The CM asked Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam to form and submit proposals. Amongst all the matters discussed in this meeting, there was a proposal for a special quota for the transgender community in government jobs.
As per the reports of local media, the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved the Karachi Yellow Line Bus project.
The bus service would be linking up the industrial areas of Korangi and the Central Business district of Saddar with the residential areas of Korangi.
