The Sindh government has taken the decision of paying for the treatment of the people who got injured in the Maskan Chowrangi, Karachi blast. The blast occurred yesterday.
As per the details, the government of Sindh has also released a notice in this matter.
The notification said that the government of Sindh would be paying for the treatment of the people who were injured after an explosion hit a residential building near the Maskan Chowrangi in the area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
On the other hand, Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has taken the decision to demolish the building affected by the blast.
According to SBCA, 6 flats of the affected building are in bad condition, while 2 of them are completely damaged.
The blast has caused major damages to the structure of the building that is why it is necessary to demolish it.
The Sindh Building Control Authority has also informed the security agencies about the operation.
Let it be known that at least 5 people lost their lives and 25 others injured in the explosion.
The blast led to chaos among the people, as per the initial reports. The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Police and Rangers cordoned off the area. The building is two storeys high and residential.
A part of the building collapsed after the blast. The blast also caused debris to fall on vehicles parked below. A bomb disposal squad was called to the scene.
