The government of Sindh has announced to give public holiday throughout the province on the 5th of February on account of Kashmir Day.
On Wednesday a notification was issued by the Sindh government.

As per the issued notification, one-minute silence would be observed at 10:00 am for honoring the Kashmiri Shuhadas.
On Tuesday that is the 5th of February all offices, local council, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies and corporations which comes under the administrative control of the Sindh government would remain closed.
Previously a decision was taken by the government of Pakistan of declaring 5th February as a public holiday in all the provincial governments including the Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and the Islamabad Capital Territory.
In a recent development, the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has launched the project of same-day driving license for facilitating the residents of the federal capital. As per the claims of the officials they want to make the ITP much more service oriented. The residents could apply and get their driving licenses on the same day and not just that the ITP has also reduced the fees.
