Sindh Government Announced Public Holiday on 27th December 2017

Sindh Government has announced a public holiday on 27th December 2017. 27th December is the date on which the sad incident of the death of the late Benazir Bhutto Shaheed took place. The holiday is given on this pretext. It is pertinent to mention here that 2017 marks the 10th death anniversary of Pakistan People’s Party leader, daughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and first female Prime Minister of Pakistan. She was killed in 2007 by a suicide bomber.

There has been a notice issued that says that “as per past practice Sindh Government is declaring 27th December as public holiday throughout the province of Sindh on the occasion of Shahadat of Mohtrama Benazir Bhutto Shaheed for all offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils under the Administration Control of Government of Sindh.”

So it clearly states that in Sindh all offices and corporations will be closed on Wednesday, 27th December 2017.

Now from one holiday, Sindh people will have another holiday on Wednesday, 27th December 2017.
