The PPP-led provincial government of Sindh on Tuesday granted permission to 82 more industries to resume their business activities.
According to the details, the government allowed them to resume operations after submission of the undertaking to fully follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) designed by the government of Sindh in the wake of novel coronavirus outbreak.
According to the notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, as many as 82 factories allowed to resume their operations to complete their export orders.
“All the factories would be bound to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) amid coronavirus outbreak”, the notification reads.
It is pertinent to mention here that earlier 69 units were allowed by the government of Sindh to resume their operations in the province.
Earlier on Monday, the Assistant Commissioner of Karachi’s Korangi Town has sealed as many as three factories operating in the city after violating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and filling their transport vehicles with their workers.
