On Wednesday, Saeed Ghani Sindh Education Minister visited different schools situated in Korangi to review the implementation of the SOPS (Standard Operating Procedure) in the schools.
During his visit, he questioned the arrangement made by the schools to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.
He also asked the students of the schools about the SOPs that are designed for the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Sindh Education Minister after visiting the schools spoke to the media persons and said that he is satisfied to see the arrangements made by the private schools. He further asked the administration to make sure that no teacher or student enters the school without a mask.
From yesterday, all the educational institutions reopened all over Pakistan after the closure of six months due to the coronavirus.
The federal government decided to reopen the educational institutions in three phases. In the initial phase, grade nine to onwards will be reopened. If the COVID-19 situation remained under control than the students of Grade six to Grade eight will join the schools in the second phase from the 23rd of September. In the third phase, students in nursery till grade 5 will join the classes on September 30th.
The government also provided all the institutions with SOPs according to which, the mask is mandatory for all teachers, students, and staffers.
