Sindh Assembly Approves a New Succession Law

Earlier today, Murtaza Wahab Adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister on Law and Environment tweeted that the Sindh Assembly’s Standing Committee on Law today has given approval for a new succession law.
According to the reports, the adviser Murtaza Wahab stated that the new succession law will permit legal successors to get Succession Certificates & Letters of Administration from NADRA in the shortest possible time without going to court.

Back on January 6th, a meeting of the Sindh cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah where the law was officially approved.
According to the new law, inheritors of a deceased person will seek a succession certificate from the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) as an alternative to taking the matter to a court. Moreover, the bill will also be introduced in the assembly for approval.
With the latest development, the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has decided to remove Misbah-ul-Haq from the position of head coach.
