Sheikh Rasheed—the Awami Muslim League (AML) chief has started his general election 2018 campaign by riding on the back of a motorcycle early Sunday morning in Rawalpindi.
The most active and full of energy politician visited his constituency on a motorbike and met with the people face to face for discussing his political agenda and views.
While conversing with the media people, the Awami Muslim League chief said that no one could purchase the loyalties of the Rawalpindi residents. He also shared his plan regarding running a “cycle campaign” during the last ten days before the final elections day so that he could also lose some weight.
He emphasized the need for holding the elections on time under any circumstances.
The enthusiastic leader cum politician said that he would be grabbing record number of votes from both of his constituencies.
The AML leader Sheikh Rasheed would be contesting election from NA-60 and NA-62 Rawalpindi.
Pakistan Tehreek Insaf has not yet announced its candidates against Sheikh Rasheed in both constituencies. However, the AML chief is competing against the Pakistan Muslim League candidate—Barrister Danial Chaudhry for the NA-62 seat.
Hanif Abbasi of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz would be contesting against Sheikh Rasheed from NA-60 constituency.
There is less than a month left for the upcoming elections. The political leaders are getting active in running their political campaigns by visiting their respective constituencies and addressing the public meetings for listing down the support of people.
