The Sindh High Court (SHC) has also unveiled on Tuesday its winter holidays schedule which would be beginning from the 26TH of December 2017 until the 9th of January 2018.
As per the statement release of the SHC, the Sindh High Court’s Sukkur benches and the circuit courts at Larkana and Hyderabad would remain open for the dealings of the urgent nature cases or pleas or work during the break.

The court would be following the timings from Monday to Thursday from 09:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.—court sitting, then there would be an interval of half an hour that would be from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and then again, the court sitting would resume from the 11:30 a.m. to 01:00 p.m.
On Friday the observed timings would be from 09:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, without any interval.
These timings would be regularly observed except for Sundays and Gazetted holidays.
The office timing would be 09:00 a.m. to 01:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and Saturday and on Friday the timings followed would be 09:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
With the advent of Winters institutions and organizations are redefining their timings and holidays schedule. Previously Lahore High Court also announced its winter holidays schedule.
Sindh government has also revealed the schedule for the winter vacations for the educational institutes which would be from the 22nd of December until the 31st of December 2017.
Karachi has witnessed the first hailstorm of the season two days back, owing to the storm and rain showers the weather has intensified—even more reason to have winter vacations as it gets tough for people to travel in such cold weather especially for the children.
Winters also means a travel season or family season as people love to travel during this time of the year or just stay home and relax—the reason why the winter break announcements are the most awaited and looked forward dates.
