he Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered the construction of a new bridge over the Indus River between Sukkur and Rohri.

After the petition filed from PPP leader Khursheed Shah, the Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered the construction of a new bridge over the Indus River between Sukkur and Rohri.
It was recently said that Shah’s counsel Mehfooz Awan in his arguments mentioned the requirement of building a new bridge over the river to connect the cities of Sukkur and Rohri on the left and right banks of Indus.
On account of these arguments, the bench issued orders for preparation of feasibility report of the new bridge within two months.
It is further recorded that previously, SHC took up a constitutional petition inquiring about proper maintenance of the Lansdowne Bridge.
