Shahid Afridi, the former skipper of Pakistan and the most loved cricketer of the country, has tested positive for COVID-19. He announced about testing positive via Twitter on Saturday.
He tweeted that he has been feeling ill since Thursday, and has bad body ache. He further wrote that he has been tested positive for the virus, unfortunately. He asked all to pray for his speedy recovery.

The teammates of Lala as well his fans have sent him wishes and prayers for his speedy recovery.
Shahid Afridi had recently been engaged with his charitable foundation as the nation is dealing with the spread of the novel virus.
Previously, he even offered to work for brands, not for money or any personal interest but rather for an exchange of ration and funds that could be utilized to assist the disadvantaged during this epidemic.
He had tweeted that he has been fortunate with many brands for promotions and ads. He added that he is now working, first hand with the ones who are infected with the coronavirus. He said that he has a proposal to offer to all brands that he would be working for free personally for them but in exchange, he just asks for ration and funds.
