A Senior Punjab Police Officer Junaid Arshad posted his Wife’s Private Pictures & Videos on Social Media. Thus Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) cyber crime wing has declared the man an absconder.
FIA took assistance from the Punjab police and relevant law enforcement departments for the arrest of SP Junaid Arshad
Arshad used a fake Facebook account to send the private pictures and videos of his wife to her family. For this, he took help from his friend. The reason he send those pictures was to prove them her claimed immorality. The wife refused his husband’s desire for a second marriage, thus as a reaction, the husband took this step reported Tribune and Pakistan Today.
Arshad’s wife registered this complaint against him.
In the investigation, it was revealed that Arshad himself created the fake Facebook account. A case was registered against him but he just disappeared when the court did not accept his bail.
Last month a similar case was registered of a girl who was being harassed and blackmailed. It was claimed that a suspect named Hammad Khursheed was threatening to leak her private pictures and videos. Cybercrime wing of Federal Investigation Agency was able to arrest Hammad, a resident of Kahuta Rawalpindi.
Mohammad Tariq was the one who issued this complaint. He said that Hammad was blackmailing his daughter and asking them money amounting to Rs0.1 million.
These issues are just increasing day by day. Now, this incident of a husband misusing his wife’s private pictures is just horrifying and disgusting. We need to be very careful in this era of social media. What type of pictures or videos we take, who we sent them to, who we trust, who we don’t these questions need to be addressed by every individual.
