Prime Minister—Imran Khan would be launching the Sehat Card Scheme on Monday, as per the reports of ARY News.
He would be performing ground-breaking ceremony of the scheme at around 3:00 pm. This scheme would be covering the treatment for angioplasty, cancer, brain surgery and other diseases without any cost.
In the next phase of the scheme, Health cards would be distributed in the federal capital. In the month of March these cards would be distributed in the tribal areas and then throughout the country.
A minimum of 15million deserving families would take advantage of this policy. The card holders would be getting the medical facilities up to 720,000. These facilities would be available in more than 150 private and government hospitals.

The cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa gave approval on Sunday for its first health policy for the province which includes the tribal areas.
Dr Hisham Inamullah Khan—the provincial health minister said that the policy was finalised after it went through various phases.
Under the policy Hisham Inamullah said that attention would be given on providing the primary and secondary health facilities.
He also said that they would try to avoid launching any new projects.
He added that the government was undergoing a new policy regarding the transfer and posting. He informed that 5,000 doctors had been registered ever since he had taken charge of the ministry.
The health minister also mentioned that surprise visits at the hospitals were part of the plan. He gave confirmation that the tribal areas would also be covered under the health policy.
