Due to increasing uncertainties of Fazal-ur-Rahman led Azadi march cum (sit-in) dharna in the federal capital Islamabad, the interior ministry has increased security in Islamabad.
It has been observed and reported by various authorities that participants of Azadi March are likely to move forward and create chaos in Islamabad despite they have been given a place near H-9 Sector Islamabad.
In order to keep law and order situation under control, the government has now beefed up security in Islamabad, the government has added 9000 more security personnel that specializes in anti-rioting, some paramilitary policemen are also included in the squad.
Earlier JUI-F and the district administration had an agreement to keep the (Sit-In) inside the designated area of H-9 in Islamabad.
However, things are quite uncertain at this stage because Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahman of JUI-F has been observed changing his plans, it was reported earlier that JUI-F leader asked to change his March’s route before reaching H-9 in Islamabad, the government accommodated this request without any delay. Due to the unclear agenda of JUI-F leader the government is planning ahead to keep peace in the city, the administration has taken extra security measures at the red zone of Islamabad.
