The second match of ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played at National Stadium of Karachi today (Monday).
The second match of the three-match ODI series was supposed to be played on Sunday but due to the heavy rain in Karachi the match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka was postponed by a day.
Both of the teams have practised for the second One-Day International under the tight security arrangements at the Karachi’s National Stadium.
According to the details, Pakistan is hosting cricket team of Sri Lanka for an ODI series for the first time since January 2009 and this would also be the first time in a period of 10 years that Karachi is hosting an ODI.
The Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board, Ehsan Mani said that cricket team of Sri Lanka has been given the state guest-level security during the visit to Pakistan.
It is pertinent to mention here that the first match of the ODI series was washed out on Friday due to heavy rain in Karachi.
