Schools Might Close Again If SOPs are Not Implemented Properly


Dr. Yasmin Rashid-the Health Minister of Punjab has said that the educational institutes might close again if the COVID-19 SOPs are not properly abided by.

As per the shared details, the classes for the 9th till 12th grades have been resumed earlier on the 18th of January, the students of the pre-primary and classes from 6th to 8th grade onwards would be called to attend the school from the last week of this month.

The minister has confirmed that the schools might close again across the nation if the coronavirus SOPs are not abided properly.

The minister showed serious concerns on the coronavirus spreading status in Punjab especially in Lahore and the cases are increasing on a per day basis.

Moreover, via a tweet, she said that Pakistan is making efforts to bring the coronavirus vaccine soon. She also said that all the actions have now been taken to make sure that the vaccine is available in the country.
