Savour Foods have been sealed with a heavy fine by the Islamabad authorities.
The famous food chain known for its pulao and kebab was apprehended in a lot of negative light yesterday after its staff misbehaved and mishandled the government employees. The government officials were there to bar the chain from using plastic bags.
The complete event was captured on camera and was seen all across Pakistan on social media. Soon after the video went viral, many Pakistanis were furious and badly disappointed with the conduct of the employees of Savour Foods and asked for the chain to be sealed owing to their actions.
Tons of messages were received by the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad asking for a seal and he replied to all with instant action.
Savour Foods has now been sealed completely, an FIR has also been registered and the chain has been imposed a fine of Rs.200,000. The people who were involved in the incident have been arrested as well.
Savour Foods is an extremely famous local food brand that serves tons of people on a per-day basis. Pakistanis were anticipating responsible conduct from such a top brand of the nation however, as it is apparent that they tried to fight with the law and are now facing the consequences.
Plastic bags use was completely banned from August 14 all across Islamabad. Since then the capital city authorities are making random visits to the businesses for ensuring that they are not using plastic bags.
