The implementation of fingerprint verification for Umrah pilgrims has been lifted off once again by Saudi authorities after it was made compulsory a day earlier.
The Saudi embassy in Pakistan had yesterday announced that the people above the age of 45 and children below the age of 12 are to be excluded from the obligation of fingerprint verification, according to the details.
The Saudi embassy has imposed the obligation on all type of pilgrims. However, the obligation of fingerprint verification was lifted off today (Tuesday) until the further notice by the embassy.
A day earlier (Monday), the Saudi government announced that the fingerprint verification for Umrah Visa would be compulsory.
