Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al-Saud, the Foreign Affairs Minister for Saudi Arabia would be visiting Pakistan today on a day-long visit, as per the reports of local media.
As per a statement released by the foreign office, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud would be calling on the PM Khan and would also be having a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart, Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Islamabad.
During the visit, the matters pertaining to mutual interest and regional issues would be brought under discussion.

It is also important to mention that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have got deep-rooted and longstanding fraternal ties. The two nations are bent on further boosting the bilateral cooperation in all the various fields.

The trip is being comprehended as of great significance for the region and Pakistan and Saudi Arabian ties in the backdrop of the episode of Kuala Lumpur.
On the other hand, as per the latest development, the special train service that was introduced for the special occasion of Christmas would be continued until January 1.
This extension has been made for providing ease of travelling to the Christian community residing in Pakistan.
