Pakistan is awaiting the historic welcome of the Saudi Crown Prince—Mohammad bin Salman who would be reaching Pakistan today on a 2-day visit.
Specially crafted Peshawari Chappals are made for him which would be presented as a gift to the crown prince.
More than 6 pairs of beautiful chappals have been made for the Saudi prince by the famous Peshawari Chappal maker—Nooriddin.
This famous chappal is also loved by the Prime Minister—Imran Khan.
While handing over the Peshawari chappal to the Information Minister—Fawad Chaudhry, Nooriddin said that it was conventional chappal of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and hopefully would be well liked by the Saudi Crown Prince.
The chappals have been prepared in just one week.
Peshawari chappals are traditional footwear of Pakistan, which are worn by the men especially in the region of KP with the attire Shalwar Kameez. The footwear took its name from the city of Peshawar, while the word chappal is the local word used for flip-flops.
The Saudi Prince would be reaching the PM House from the airport, he would be staying there during his 2-day visit.
An important meeting is scheduled on the 17th of February with the Saudi prince, followed by a formal dinner at the PM House.
The Saudi Arabian guests would be departing from Pakistan on the 18th of February.
