Saudi Crown Prince Expected to Sign $14 billion Investment Deal with Pakistan upon his Visit

According to the diplomatic sources, it is expected that the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will visit Pakistan from 14th to 18th February.

The crown will not just address the parliament during his visit but it is also expected that the Prince will sign a trade deal worth $14 billion with Pakistan. If it is signed, the trade deal will be the biggest foreign investment ever made in the history of the country.

The Crown Prince will take part in an international investment conference. The two-day visit of Salman will be held at a five-star hotel.

The date of the conference is yet not confirmed. Also the itinieray of the crown prince confirms that after his visit to Pakistan he will go to Malaysia, India and Beijing

The Prime Minister of Pakistan will discuss the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and global issues including the Yemen War and the Afghan Peace Process with the Crown Prince.

Back in October 2018, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan paid a visit to Riyadh. He tried to attract potential investors and secure funds to overcome the current balance of payment crisis in the country.

Furthermore the Prime Minister attended the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference and met with King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman. In the meetings with them, matters of mutual importance were discussed.
