The authorities of Saudi Arabia have deported as many as 20 illegal Pakistani immigrants.
After their arrival at Islamabad International Airport, two of them were taken into custody by the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA). According to the details, they were taken into custody for leaving Pakistan illegally.
According to a senior official of the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA), the Saudi authorities detained 20 Pakistanis for staying in the Saudi Kingdom illegally and were sent back to Pakistan on a schedule flight on Saturday.
After the verification process, the Pakistani authorities have allowed 18 of the deportees to go home while two of them were taken to the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA)’s Anti-Human Trafficking Cell for legal proceedings and investigation as the authorities of Pakistan didn’t have their travel record to the Saudi Kingdom.
