The Saudi Crown Prince—Mohammad Bin Salman is not looking to purchas the Premier League Football club—Manchester United, as informed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s media minister on Monday.
He denied any such reports and added that there had only been a meeting with the Saudi wealth fund about sponsorship.
As per a tweet of the minister—Turki al-Shabana reports regarding the interest of the Prince Mohammad bin Salman to purchase the football club are completely wrong.
He was giving a reaction to the reports that the Saudi Crown Prince had sought to attract the Glazer family to abandon control of the club.

Shabanah added that the Manchester United conducted a meeting with the PIF Saudi for discussing a sponsorship opportunity. He said that however no deal materialized.
The Sun—a British newspaper on Sunday reported that the Crown Prince was in a $4.9 billion takeover bid for one of the most famous football clubs.
The paper further wrote that a bid was first given in October but the fallout from the murder of the Saudi journalist—Jamal Khashoggi at the embassy of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul, Turkey placed the “skids” on a potential offer.
Currently, the Saudi Crown Prince is a on 2-day visit to Pakistan. He reached Islamabad yesterday, where he was given a spectacular welcome.
His visit to Pakistan would prove beneficial for the country in terms of strengthening and boosting bilateral ties. Saudi Arabia also has signed 7 investmnet agreements with Pakistan for cooperation in various sectors.
