The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has cut the visa fees for the Pakistani citizens, as informed by the diplomatic officials on Thursday.
The visit visa fee for Pakistanis has been cut to SAR338 from SAR2000, as per the diplomatic officials. In the same way, single entry visa fee has been cut to SAR338 and multiple visa fee to SAR675.
The new visa fees as per the officials would be put into effect from the 15th of February.
They said that Pakistan had already reduced visa fees for the Saudi nationals, which was implemented from the 12th of December 2018.
The single-entry visa fee for the Saudi nationals was reduced to SAR270, whereas the multiple visa fee was reduced to SAR540, as per the officials.
According to the details provided by the officials, the business single entry visa fee for the Saudi citizens was cut to SAR405, whereas multiple visa fee was reduced to SAR810.
Officials also informed that steps were taken for promoting trade and investment between the two nations.
The cut in the visa fees for the Pakistani citizens is in line with the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman to Pakistan. The Crown Prince would be reaching Pakistan on the 16th of February on a 2-day visit, as per the Saudi ambassador.
During his stay Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would be signing a number of agreements and MoUs regarding the different sectors, including culture, power, investment, energy, finance, media, renewable energy, sports and internal security.
The 2 nations would also be discussing ways and means of developing a detailed mechanism for the effective implementation and quick progress on physical areas of cooperation.
