Saudi Arabia Deports 140 Pakistanis

Saudi Arabia has deported 140 Pakistani immigrants.

The deported immigrants, the majority of which were overstaying were deported by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached the Islamabad International Airport on Sunday, as per the reports of local media.

According to the sources, after the verification process and the initial investigations, the Federal Investigation Agency—FIA gave permission to 100 deportees to go to their hones whereas, the remaining nationals were shifted to the anti-human smuggling cell for further investigation.

The sources revealed that the rest of the 40 deportees would also be released soon.

Previously, on the 27th August, Turkey had deported 51 unlawful immigrants who were Pakistani nationals, they landed at the Islamabad airport.

The deportees reached Islamabad via Turkish Airlines’ flight number TK-701 which was taken into custody from the airport.

As per the Federal Investigation Agency—FIA, 20 persons had been given the permit to go their homes, whereas the remaining nationals had been transferred to the human smuggling cell for further investigation.
